Our History
NEEVS was founded in 2016 by Dr Bruno Ros with the goal of providing practical and affordable large animal veterinary care to farming families in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
While Bruno’s passion is equine medicine, his real world experience as the son of dairy farmers means he has a wealth of hands on experience and knowledge with cattle and a range of farm animals.
From NEEVS’ humble start as a mobile veterinary service, Bruno has steadily grown his offering by building dedicated treatment facilities at his base in Tuncester in order to provide improved diagnosis and care to his patients.
Bruno’s commitment to animal welfare has meant he has fostered a strong relationship with the likes of RSPCA and the Animal Welfare League in NSW.
Our Philosophy
Our practical, no nonsense approach may not be everyone’s cup of tea but we place the importance on your animal and their treatment, not on telling clients what they want to hear. Our primary concern is your animal’s welfare and we strive to provide exceptional care and treatment in this regard.
We value clients that treat us with respect and loyalty and will go above and beyond for them and their animals in their time of need.
Our Facilities
We carry a comprehensive range of mobile clinic equipment to treat your animals on farm, and are able to perform preventative treatments through to full diagnostics and routine surgeries safely and with the latest technologies on hand. Our portable crush enables us to contain animals safely for a range of procedures.
We are based 10 minutes out of Lismore in Tuncester, where we are equipped with large animal stabling facilities and clinic based diagnostic equipment to assist in complex cases. We also run regular scoping and dental days from this location.
